What's in your dog's profile

Updated October 22, 2026

To open your dog's profile: Profile → "My pets" → your dog. Or tap your dog's name at the top of the home screen → your dog.

The profile holds:

  • name, sex, breed, color and date of birth;
  • current weight, in kilograms;
  • diet: "Dry food", "Wet food", "Raw diet", "Mixed" or "Other";
  • whether your dog is neutered;
  • microchip number;
  • veterinarian: clinic name, vet name and phone number.

Tap ✓ to save your changes. If you close the profile without ✓, the changes are lost.

The microchip number is exactly 15 digits. A shorter number isn't saved, and Puffy doesn't warn you, so check that all 15 digits are there. A saved number can be replaced with another 15-digit number, but it can't be cleared.

What can't be changed. Name, sex, breed and color can't be changed once they're filled in. The date of birth can't be changed after sign-up. If one of them is wrong, write to us: Profile → "Contact support" (help@puffy.pet).
